Thanksgiving Alfresco
There’s a first time for everything.

We’re celebrating Thanksgiving outdoors and eating on paper plates. In our efforts to be safe …. Covid tests, disposables and enjoying the great outdoors in November are some of the precautions we are taking this holiday.

Just our immediate family will be gathering, but keeping this day of gratitude festive remains front and center. I turned to Caspari to capture the holiday spirit, something I’ve always wanted to do, but never made it past the cocktail napkins 😉

It’s summer all over again except for the weather. I placed bamboo flatware and rattan placemats on the wrought iron table covered with a burlap tablecloth, and filled a basket with Gerber Daisies.
Turkey and acorn dessert plates, gold berry dinner plates and Caspari’s “linen” paper napkins embossed with gold turkey fans take paper place settings to another level.

Some of us will be at a table but in order to socially distance, others will eat on trays. I lined each bamboo tray with two square Heirloom Pumpkins cocktail napkins, and finished each place setting with Turkey & Acorn Celebration Crackers.
How festive is this?!

It’s not easy to break with tradition, but who knows….. this could be the start of something new.
Best wishes to all for a safe and joyful holiday!
